As per Maryland COVID-19 guidelines, we’re an essential business and we’re open. That being said I have temporarily suspended most in-house services such as Energy Audits, insulation, Air Sealing out of an abundance of caution for your health and ours. We will get through this together. During this trying time there are some Energy Efficiency & Comfort measures you can do yourself.
First of all thank you for doing your part during this terrible COVID-19 situation. And to our Health Care Hero’s a heartfelt thank you! My Daughter is an RN on the front lines, and of course I’m worried for her health.
Cabin Fever? Stuffy inside your home? Worried about indoor air quality? Here are Three things you can do without risk to yourself or your loved ones.
Check your HVAC Filter, replace it if you haven’t in the last month or so. A dirty filter causes your system to work much harder than necessary costing more to maintain comfort.
Make sure bathroom exhaust fans run at least 20 minutes after taking a shower. This prevents that warm humid air from starting mold issues.
Check your dryer vent hood outside. This is often overlooked and vent clogged with lint works your dryer harder and takes longer for your clothes to dry, costing you more.
These are simple things that can really make a difference.
Stay Safe and Healthy!
